Tips To Stay Safe When Enjoying The Nightlife In Siesta Key, FL

The nightlife in Siesta Key is friendly, fun and safe. But no matter where you are or what you’re doing at night, there are always some important things to keep in mind.

* Know where you’re going before you go to a bar or club. If you have a friend who’s been before, ask where to go. If you have to go alone, research online beforehand so you know what’s there and can pick a place that’s right for you.

* Walk or take an Uber – not just when you’re leaving, but when you arrive at your destination, too. This will help keep you safe and always avoid driving after drinking.

* Eat before you go out. Even if you’re at a dive bar, sit down and eat the appetizers. You’ll thank yourself after you start drinking.

* Keep your cash, ID, and phone in a money belt. This will keep it safe and help you avoid losing these things.

* Keep an eye on your drink. Don’t leave it unattended and ask a friend to watch it for you if you do have to walk away from your drink.

* Keep your phone handy! Having your phone on you will help in case of an emergency.

* If you’re not with your friends, tell them where you are before you go anywhere or leave so they know where to find you.

* Don’t go somewhere with a stranger or someone you don’t trust. Be aware of your surroundings and who’s around you.
