1. The Kings Head

The Kings Head is located on Market Place and is one of the most historic buildings in Beverley. It is a traditional pub which serves a wide range of beers and other alcoholic drinks. The food is made to order, and it tastes even better than it looks – and it looks good!

This award-winning English pub is famed for its wood-fired pizza and freshly baked bread – and that’s what we recommend you try. If you stay at the pub – which is a guest house too – you’ll enjoy a 20% discount on your meal! The food here is out of this world, although it can be quite expensive – but you’re paying for quality. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and decorated with antiques. Tables are small but private, so you won’t feel like you’re sitting next to other diners.

It’s a classic British restaurant with a French twist, serving steak and chips, roast belly pork, homemade pate, pan-fried sea bass, and oven-baked apple crumble. The dishes served are quite pricey because they’re worth every penny. A starter can cost anywhere between 8 and 14 pounds while main courses range from 16-25 pounds.
