Full of culturally significant ornaments and decorations, including lots of dragons and hanging lanterns, the place feels authentic and traditional. It has a large lounge with tables and booths capable of seating many people at once, so that you can be at ease in whichever one you choose to relax in.

As for their food, it’s known for being just exquisite. Try their Hibachi New York Steak, their Hibachi Filet Mignon & Chicken, or their Sushi, if you want to experience their finest.

However, they have a comprehensive menu and everything they make, is fresh and high quality, so if you want to add something else that catches your eye, then go for it! This is the place to experiment and order anything and everything.

Ichiban Hibachi Steakhouse is open seven days a week from 11 am to 9 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 11 am to 9:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, so drop by whenever you want.

3. Tom Tom’s

West Virginia’s own local brand of fast food that everyone enjoys, from locals to tourists!

Sometimes fast food manages to hit the spot that no other food truly can, no matter how hard you try. So, if you have a cheat day coming up and want to plan something special to indulge in then head over to Tom Tom’s, the neighborhood’s own fast food joint that sells a variety of American Style fast food with plenty of sides and great service.

Tom the owner is somewhat of a local celebrity so if you spot him, make sure to take a picture with him to remember your trip! The eatery is more of a take-out and drive-through place so there isn’t space to sit inside and eat, so keep that in mind whenever you want to go. But they have some of the best food in town, so even if you have to eat it in your car or take it home, it really is worth it.

Their hotdogs, burgers, and sandwiches all have a cult following that makes people keep coming back for more. Everything is made fresh, so you’ll never be sold any pre-made food which is says a lot about the establishment.

In particular their Reuben sandwich is something that we recommend because many locals regard it as their favorite.

Tom Tom’s is closed on Saturday and Sunday so don’t drop by over the weekend. They are open all other days, so check them out between the hours of 10 am and 7 pm.

4. Village Pizza Inn

This has always been a super popular place for locals to frequent so you’ll enjoy the ambiance and the service as well as the fresh food. Sounds like a win-win!

The interior has recently been renovated so everything looks fresh and new. The new look has a barn-styled open-ceiling lounge with wooden chairs and tables and a huge, interesting clock centerpiece on the feature wall. Its vibe and lighting is great for pictures, so make sure you snap a few.

There’s also has some really nice, big windows that let in a lot of light, so if you enjoy basking in the sun’s warm glow, make sure to grab the tables near the window for maximum sun time.

With a huge menu full of options, you’ll never run out of things to order. Whether you want to build your own pizza, have their specialty pizzas, or order some subs and sandwiches, they have it all. They also have lunch and dinner specials, if you want to order something other than pizza.

Village Pizza Inn is open all throughout the week and during the weekends, however, they have different timings for both. Catch them from Monday to Thursday from 10:30 am to 9 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 am to 10 pm. On Sundays, they open from 11:30 am to 9 pm.

A locally owned Chinese eatery serving over a hundred different dishes to choose from!

Alongside Ichiban, another great Asian food restaurant in town is China House. Not only do they serve all your favorite Chinese dishes, but they also serve them up in an elegant and sophisticated eatery. It’s the perfect place to come for date night or to celebrate a special occasion in Point Pleasant, so make sure it’s on your must-go list.

This restaurant is an inviting space with beautiful Chinese calligraphy framed on the walls. It’s clean and simple as far as its interior goes with a huge buffet table on one side of the lounge.

There’s enough seating options to cater to rush-hour crowds, so you’ll be taken care of no matter when you show up. It’s one of the most popular restaurants in Point Pleasant though, so it can get busy.

Mouthwatering Asian cuisine is served here, and you’ll find some familiar names on the menu like Kung Pao chicken, Dragon & Phoenix, Pork with Vegetables, and Beef Chili Dry. If these sound appetizing then great, but if you want to try something new and different they have over 100 items on their menu, so you’ll be spoilt for choice.

A farm-to-table restaurant that sells fresh daily specials and other farm products that are one of a kind!

If you’re health conscious and are always on the lookout for organic, locally produced, fresh ingredients that have little to no chemicals and harmful ingredients then you’ll love the entire philosophy behind Farm Fresh Favorites!

They are a local farm-to-table restaurant that makes a limited menu every day while also stocking up on various products that they sell at two locations in West Virginia.

The decor of the place is super cute and simple, with red gingham patterned curtains adding a pop of color to the place. They have shelves full of jars of honey, jams, cheeses, and other farmed goods that you should definitely stock up on too. They also have tables and booths to choose from, so you can enjoy their delicious menu items comfortably!

Alongside that, there’s a great menu that includes all kinds of sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and appetizers. Apart from this they also announce daily specials on their Facebook page, where the soup of the day is also announced. Following that page and scouting it before heading over isn’t a bad idea as it’ll let you know what you’re in for!

Farm Fresh Favorites is closed on Sundays but open throughout the week. Catch them from 10 am to 5 pm and enjoy all that they have to offer.

7. The Coffee Grinder

The Coffee Grinder is a local café owned and run by a family, that’s huge on community spirit, so you’ll feel the love as soon as you walk through the doors.

It’s a really cute eatery that has exposed brick walls, dark wood floors, and a lovely mural on one side wall. It’s not too large a space but it’s perfect for a coffee house and they have plenty of tables to enjoy your cuppa from, so grab a friend or family member and test out the local coffee and baked goods.

Their food is scrumptious too! Not only do they sell all kinds of coffees, shakes, smoothies, teas, and juice but they also sell a variety of baked goods as well as lunch specials like sandwiches, wraps, and salads. So, if the person you’re going with isn’t a coffee fan, they can always choose to have something else from the ever-expanding lineup here. With so many things to offer, we’re sure they’ll find something that they’ll enjoy.

Italian food just speaks to the soul, or so we always thin. Luckily, Point Pleasant has Gino’s Pizza and Spaghetti, a cute little Italian spot selling all your classic Italian favorites in a lovely ambiance with exceptional service. Come, indulge in their food and forget your worries.

Gino’s has a traditional approach to its interior. With deep red walls adorning framed paintings of various dishes – they sure do set the mood for some great food. You can choose to sit in a booth or at a table, and their main hall also has a lot of windows, making it a warm and welcoming atmosphere to be in. So, sit back, unwind and relax while you are taken care of.

Whether you want to have pizzas, pasta, or subs and sandwiches, they make some of the best ones in town. They also have wings and other appetizers that are worth a taste, too.

But if you’re looking for a lighter option, they have numerous salads as well, which are as flavorful as they are filling, so check those out as well.

Gino’s Pizza and Spaghetti is closed on Sunday but open every other day. Head on over between 11 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday, they close early so they are only open from 11 am to 6 pm.
