Starting off, we have easily one of the best restaurants in Mason, Willow Creek Café & Club.

This eatery is known for its gorgeous interior and delicious food, so whether you’re coming for date night or grabbing lunch with some friends, this cafe will make each time you come feel special and memorable.

Imagine high ceilings, stone and brick exposed walls, and classic wooden furnishings bathed in natural light – and that’s just one part of the restaurant! Each area of the place has its own charm and whimsy making it a superb place to dine in.

Apart from this, they also have mouthwatering delights like burgers, sandwiches, and a breakfast that’s well worth getting out of bed for! So, if you’re an early riser check out that breakfast. But if you’re coming over for lunch or dinner check out their house specials.

Willow Creek is open every single day of the week from 6 am 1o 10 pm, making it a reliable and convenient establishment to dine in.

Mason is a visionary delight, with yellow, green, and orange walls, and lots of interesting and fascinating cultural ornaments and decorations. Owners Nacho and Lisa also bring you some of their heirloom recipes, so be prepared to have authentic Mexican food with some local twist.

Try their Enchiladas, Tacos, and Fajitas to taste the difference, and finish the meal off with a helping of their Sopapillas and you’ll be on cloud nine!

Nacho’s Café is also open seven days a week, so show up whenever you want to! Catch them from 6 am to 9 pm every single day. Plus, on Friday and Saturday, they are open an additional hour and close at 10.

3. Lea Lou Co-op

A historic and iconic restaurant, event space and hotel that has an amazing story, lots of great food, and live music on select days!

Another amazing destination for seafood, steaks, and pizza is Lea Lou Co-op

This small family-owned place actually used to be a hardware and lumber store back in 1887! So, not only will you be dining at a great restaurant with amazing food, but you’ll also be a part of Mason’s history when you go and visit.

Lea Lou has a stunning interior with a lot of character. It’s a rustically elegant space that makes use of its history and culture, using both as decorative elements.

It also has an over 21 club area that has pool, drinks, and more activities to enjoy. There’s also the option for outdoor seating if you prefer meals al fresco.

As for what to try, their Ribeye Steak, Fried Catfish, Pizza, and Chuck Burger are some of the most recommended dishes on the menu.

The restaurant is closed three days a week from Sunday to Tuesday but opens all other days from 5 pm to 12 am, making it an ideal dinner and drinks location.

4. Cooper’s Original Pit Bar-B-Q

Family-friendly place serving classic Texan BBQ with a side of Southern hospitality that’s been around since the 50s! Outdoor seating is available.

The interior of the restaurant is simple and classic with lots of tables to choose from, alongside an ordering counter at the top. It’s a little understated, but that’s because all the focus is on the food!

Speaking of which, the Estes family has been making meat since the 50s so you’re in for a real treat at Cooper’s.

Their menu is simple and to the point with different meat options which you can have on their own with sides, or in a sandwich. But we’d recommend trying both out to have a little of everything.

Cooper’s is closed Mondays to Wednesdays but catch them on all other days from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm.

5. Sandstone Cellars Wine Bar

A boutique wine bar experience, unlike any other! An unmissable treat for wine connoisseurs in the region!

Looking for something different when you’re in Mason? Then we suggest heading over to the elegant and classic wine bar, Sandstone Cellars Wine Bar. It’s in a picturesque location, right in the middle of the wilderness, and is popular with locals and tourists alike.

The winery and wine bar are in an old, refurbished house, that you can roam around in while you’re there. There’s lots to explore too, including plenty of amazing art for sale and lots of cozy nooks and crannies to sit and admire.

Plus, they also have an outdoor covered veranda that overlooks their yard, which is a great place to enjoy your wine at. Their wine bar is fully stocked too, and has some classic and unconventional options, which you can enjoy with a plate of their daily special. All in all, it’s a wonderful way to spend the day in Mason.

Sandstone Cellars Wine Bar is closed from Monday to Wednesday so, make sure to catch it when it does open, which are all other days from 12 – 10 pm.

6. Cavo’s Cabana
