The Best Restaurants In Gray, GA: Food Worth Waiting For!

1. Agave Azul Gray

Family-friendly Mexican eatery serving a huge variety of delicacies with some vegetarian options and a separate kids’ menu as well.

Mexican food never fails to disappoint. It’s a cuisine so rich in flavor and so vast in variety that no matter what you like or dislike, you’ll probably find something or the other that you’ll absolutely adore at any Mexican Eatery. However, when you’re in Gray, GA, make sure you drop by Agave Azul.

The team here always make longstanding fans of Mexican food super happy, while also having the power to convince even the strictest of Mexican food critics to come over to the dark side!

This restaurant has a very festive and celebratory vibe with huge murals depicting life in Mexico and many Mexican-inspired decorative elements, all of which makes the place feel warm and cozy. They also love to bring over their huge Sombrero whenever people have birthday parties, so if your special day is coming up soon, you should definitely celebrate it at Agave Azul!

As far as their food is concerned the Fajitas, Burritos, Seafood, and Lunch Specials are amongst the most highly recommended items, so picking any from these sections will leave you in a happy place.

Their food is simply exceptional too. You pay according to whichever category best suits you – Adult, Senior, Kids, and Uniform – and then make your way to a lavish spread that’s full of appetizers, mains, and desserts.

With all kinds of chicken, meat, vegetables, soups, salads, and sweet dishes, it’s no surprise that this place is regarded as one of the best buffet restaurants in Gray.

I Love Country Buffet is closed on Mondays. They are open every other day but their timings differ, so from Tuesday to Thursday they are open from 10:30 am to 8 pm. 6. Old Clinton BBQ

Barbecue served with a twist in this family-friendly eatery with a lively atmosphere and professional service.

If you’re like us and have a special place for BBQ in your heart, then you will absolutely love Old Clinton BBQ.

Not only are they known for their traditional flavors and a vast variety of BBQ items, but they are also one of the most loved restaurants in Gray, GA by locals, so you’ll be right in the center of all the action.

This restaurant is family owned and locally operated, and the décor is homey and welcoming as well. They aren’t a very big restaurant, so there might be a bit of a wait every now and then, but for their food it’s well worth it.

You can choose from having meat in bulk or in plates, depending on how hungry everyone is. Or, you can even try their specials and sandwiches, made from the same meat. They also have plenty of family packs that you can order from that have a variety of options to choose from.

However, do make sure you end your meal with a slice of their Pecan or Key Lime pie. Those are known for being some of the most delicious desserts in town.

7. Hot Corner Nutrition

A healthy juice bar that serves smoothies, shakes, and other amazing meal replacement beverages to go.

Sometimes a snack corner or juice bar is perfect for those in between times when it’s not quite dinner and not quite lunch. The place is really cute and the owner has made a lot of effort to make everyone comfortable while they wait for their order. There are couches and chairs as well as some quirky signs that add to the whimsy the space creates.

It’s mainly a grab-and-go place, however, if you want to sit and enjoy their drinks inside, there are some sofas to do so, so feel free to sit back and relax.

As far as what to order goes, we recommend trying their wedding cake smoothie if you like something sweet, or their Collagen Strawberry Coconut if you want something healthy. You can also check out their Bah Humbug and Poinsettia Punch if you like classic flavors with a twist.

There are many more combinations and flavors to choose from so ask your server about what to have and depending on which flavors you like; they’ll suggest the perfect beverage.

Hot Corner Nutrition is open every day apart from Sunday. Their timings from Monday to Friday are from 7 am to 5:30 pm. On Saturdays, they are open from 9 am to 3 pm. So, drop by whenever you’re craving something wholesome and natural.

8. Pickle Barrel Café & Sports Pub

A boisterous bar full of energetic locals, caring staff, and amazing food! Outdoor seating is available too.

If you like frequenting pubs and sports bars, then this is the spot for you in Gray. Pickle Barrel Café & Sports Pub has a great atmosphere and is full of locals supporting their favorite teams, and while it can be loud it is warm, and welcoming too.

The interior of Pickle Barrel is also just perfect for the kind of place that it is. With yellow walls and plenty of sports memorabilia, it sets the mood to enjoy the game in.

There’s booth and table-style seating to choose from, but there’s also an outdoor patio area if you want to step outside for some fresh air. They have a well-stocked bar and the bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable, so whichever drink you want, they can probably create it for you.

They really have a comprehensive and extensive menu when it comes to food too. You have many options but some of the most ordered and popular dishes include the Nachos, Wraps, Cheesesteaks, and burgers.

Pickle Barrel Café & Sports Pub is open seven days a week, so there’s plenty of time to visit. Their timings are from 11 am to 10 pm, Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday they are open from 11 am to 9 pm.
