A super popular dining establishment in Cisco, JC’s Deli & Grill is a wonderful location for the entire family, serving steaks, seafood, and everything in between. This place can cater to a variety of different palates, so no matter who wants what, this restaurant is bound to satisfy everyone’s appetite and have you coming back for more!

The restaurant is located inside the church and community center. So, the interior has a dark and moody-themed vibe going on, that works well with the food they serve. The chairs are plush and sofa-like and very comfortable to sit on after a long day of sightseeing in town. They have some thematic artwork on the walls that adds to the décor as well.

Everything about the place is elegant and rustic, which works well and is a great aesthetic for a restaurant serving steaks as their main attraction.

Their steaks are known for being phenomenal; you simply have to get at least one for the table. Plus, their seafood is also very popular among the locals, so make sure you order something from their seafood menu too.

Apart from this, they have a separate kids menu as well as a play area that the little ones are bound to enjoy. All in all, a great place for adults and kids alike.

JC’s Deli & Grill is open 11 am to 2 pm from Monday to Friday. Its closed on Saturday and Sunday, making it a great lunch spot. Don’t save it for the weekend though, because it’ll be too late by then!

The interior is full of colorful Mexican themed decorations and artifacts, that add authenticity to the place. It also shows how proud the owners are of their cultural heritage and how willing they are to share their lives with their loyal patrons. Which makes sense, because the community has been supporting the restaurant since its opened, making it a popular local hangout place.

As far as their food goes, their buffet has a lot of variety, from delicious chicken and pork to perfectly seasoned vegetables and beans. It’s a huge spread that’s bound to satiate even the hungriest of people.

Plus, they also have daily specials that are a great way to introduce more variety into their menu. Those specials are a great treat because they’re usually items not in the buffet, so ask your server about the specials too, before deciding on what to order.

La Finca is open every day of the week. Monday to Friday, its open from 10:30 am to 9 pm. On Saturday its open from 8 am to 9 pm and on Sunday its open from 8 am to 2 pm. So, make sure you check its schedule before heading over!

Another great restaurant that adds a ton of diversity to the dining and culinary experiences you find in Cisco is New China, which is somewhat of a local pioneer in introducing Asian food to the people of Cisco.

They serve some big, bold and interesting flavors which the locals have always loved to experiment with. So, doesn’t matter if you’re looking for your usual Chow Mein order or want to try something different, New China will have it all.

Their interior might not be anything to write home about but its been done up with love, showcasing some lovely Chinese Calligraphy on the walls and small lanterns hanging from the doors. It’s a sweet little place that will put you in the mood for good food. The menu is all displayed near the counter so you can take a look and order there or you can get a traditional menu and order when you sit, its up to you!

Its most famous dishes are its Low Mein, Orange chicken, Jalepeno Chicken and sweet and sour chicken, so getting those is always a good idea.

There are plenty of other things on the menu too and we encourage experimenting with new flavors as well. The place really does have great food, so no matter what you end up choosing, we’re sure you’ll absolutely love it.

New China is closed on Monday. It opens Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 8:30 pm. On Sundays, its opened from noon to 8:30 pm. Making it a great lunch or dinner option for the entire family.

4. Slowpoke Farm Market

The interior of the place is super cute too, with wooden tables and chairs, a great view of the kitchen, and lovely farm animal pictures on the wall. Slowpoke Farm Market is closed Sunday to Wednesday and opens only Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Making it a great breakfast and lunch venue when it’s open!

5. Waverly’s Coffee

Neighborhood coffee place with a big heart, amazing coffee and some of the warmest local owners you’ll ever meet!

A coffee house like no other, big on community spirit, Waverly’s Coffee is proudly locally owned, and family operated. Serving coffee and other delights for over a decade now, this small but delightful café is everything that little towns are known for: warmth, love, and homestyle food. So, whether you’re local or a tourist, you’ll be greeted like one of the gang!

The interior is just as cozy as you’d expect with books and delightful knick-knacks lining the shelves behind the tables. There are plenty of items for sale too, so wander around the place and see what it has to offer. Their entrance with the red window and door also makes a great photo op, so if you want to snap some pictures to remember your trip, that’s the place!

Their menu is handwritten on a large blackboard above the counter, and is full of yummy goodies that pair well with their specialty coffee. So, whether you get a sandwich or some breakfast, both options are exquisite and approved by the locals.

If you’re just dropping by to enjoy the coffee then get a muffin to go with it, because those are also very popular and they run out of them pretty quickly, so make sure you grab one when you have the chance.

Waverly’s Coffee is open Tuesday to Wednesday from 7 am to 6 pm. It’s closed on Thursday, and it reopens on Friday and Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm. It’s also closed on Sunday, so go during the week to taste their wares.

6. Broken X Winery

An upscale wine tasting restaurant with amazing drinks, high quality food and exceptional service.

If you’re looking for a different kind of dining experience then we highly recommend Broken X Winery, because not only do they have a great wine tasting program but they also serve some absolutely delicious food with their tastings, making the entire experience something to remember. So, if you have a special occasion that you want to celebrate, coming here would be a great idea!

The interior of the place is just perfect, with some exposed brick walls, exposed ceilings and stone pathways – it’s very rustic but modern at the same time. The perfect balance of the old and the new, making the décor look timeless and elegant.

They have two seating arrangements, one at ground level and one upstairs. The upstairs seating area is a fun space to sit in, giving you an overhead view of the restaurant! Highly recommended.

The food is also very popular with the locals, so whether you go to experience their wine or just want some great food, they’ll cater to all your needs.

Their Pastrami, Chicken Salad sandwich and Turkey melt are some of their hot-selling items. As for their drinks, they have a wide variety of beverages to choose from and if you’re unsure they have the nicest staff that will help you find the right bottle.

The gumball machine is actually our favorite part as it brings back so many nostalgic childhood memories and just adds to the comfort food theme they have going on. It’s a simple, clean place that’s always bustling with people coming in or going out.

Their pizzas are their main attraction; however, they also have a pretty decent salad bar that you can use to load up on some amazing salads as a side. Plus, they’re also known for making a mean cinnamon bread pastry that everyone always seems to get after a meal, so make sure you save some space for that!

Everything comes piping hot and bursting with flavor too, making it a great family friendly place that never disappoints.

Pizza Heaven Express is open every day of the week! From 11 am to 9 pm. So, it doesn’t matter when you go, they’ll always have fresh, cheesy pizza waiting for you. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. We don’t judge!
