Greek meets Italian, and they make beautiful Mediterranean cuisine together! This chic modern restaurant began when Founder Chef Dasos Charalambous and his Greek heritage and two decades of expertise, collided with highly qualified head chef Anonella Tubelli originally from Napoli.

A Turkish-Cypriot restaurant with a contemporary style, Havet serves hot and cold meze as well as chargrilled dishes. The owners have set out to create a dining experience reminiscent of authentic Turkish childhood meal times with fresh Mediterranean flavours, and they’ve succeeded.

It is a simple, modern and bright restaurant with booths and plenty of seating inside and outdoor seating under cover. The attentive and friendly staff are not shy of a birthday sing-song; but even without an occasion, you’ll be made to feel special by management.

Since 2012 this family business has set out to revamp this side of the industry producing as much as possible on the premises fresh every day. Frequenting Smithfield Market early every morning for prime cuts of meat, and utilising original family recipes handed down the generations, Havet believe in truly fresh food. The result is some of the best tasting food in Bromley.

Havet’s impressive menu is separated into meze, main courses, lunch menu, kids menu and desserts, as well as take away, with over 500 combinations of dishes!

Premium ingredients are used every day to make fresh signature meals in an open kitchen cooked over an open charcoal pit, with many of those dishes being served on Turkish flatbread known as lavas.

You’ll find favourites such as shish, kofte, and döner as well as traditional humus and helim fries (halloumi). These chunky strips of Cypriot helium, deep fried for a crunchy bite and served with unique dipping sauce are a popular favourite among locals and well worth a try.

More vegetarian dishes include vegetable tagine and shish consisting of marinated aubergine, peppers, courgettes, onions and mushrooms. There are also some fantastic options on a simple kids’ menu to suit even the fussiest of eaters.

In particular locals recommend the sumptuous seftali – a handmade Turkish Cypriot sausage made from ground lamb, finely chopped onion and parsley.

If you still have room for more, then the Katmer dessert is well worth trying. It includes a stunning combination of pistachio, Turkish ‘clotted cream’, and filo pastry with sugar syrup, as well as offerings of traditional baklava served with a scoop of ice cream topped with Turkish candy floss.
