We have to start with the most popular restaurants in Blountstown among locals: Fiddler’s Oyster Bar & Steamhouse.

It is not only one of the best seafood restaurants in Blountstown but also one of the best places for fresh fish in Florida. So, even if you’re prepared to enjoy the food, they will still pleasantly surprise you with their variety, quality, and range of menu items. 

The interior is also super cozy and welcoming with table and booth-style seating, hardwood floors, and under-the-sea-themed wall art and accessories. It’s really been done up with care, love, and attention and you can see how proud the owners are of their restaurant. That just makes it a great atmosphere to dine in and a perfect evening out to enjoy some of the best seafood available in town.

The menu includes fried shrimp, oysters on half-shells, crab cakes, grouper sandwiches with fries, and many more items. If you’re a seafood aficionado, you’ll leave the place feeling happy and full!

If not, then no worries, because they have other scrumptious items on the menu that you can enjoy as well, like burgers and sides. Plus, they have a separate kids’ menu as well, so that everyone gets what they want.

King House is closed on Monday. It opens Tuesday to Thursday from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. On Friday, its open from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm. On Saturday, its again open from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm and on Sunday, its open from 11 am to 9 pm.

Since, their timings vary, it’s best to check their schedule before heading over to avoid any inconvenience.

6. Rosie’s Roadside Café

Rosie’s Roadside Café is closed on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, making it the perfect lunch spot, especially if the weather’s nice. You can even call ahead and make sure they’re open as well, before you head out.

7. El Jalisco

One of the most thoughtfully decorated interiors in town, El Jalisco really makes an impression the minute you walk inside. With its terracotta walls, hanging plants and Mexican inspired decorations on the wall, it’s really the perfect place to enjoy food in. With such a lively atmosphere, make sure you take a lot of photos of the stunning décor to send back home to family or friends.

As far as the food is concerned, you’ll likely be on cloud nine from the first bite. Their Mexican Lasagna, Fajitas and enchiladas are some of their most ordered menu items. So, ordering those would be a safe bet.

Family-owned Oyster Bar serving fresh seafood and other specialties with a side of kindness and hospitality in a cozy atmosphere.

JoAnn and Samuel Garrett opened Garrett’s Oyster Bar to share their love of food with the locals in Blountstown, many moons ago. Not only did they receive a whole lot of love and patronage, but they also became one of the town’s most visited seafood restaurants, where the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is homey.

The interior of the place is welcoming and comfortably decorated, with some thematic wall art and plants bringing life to every corner of the place. As it’s a small establishment, there aren’t many tables to choose from, but the fact that they only cater to a limited number of people at one time is one of the things that makes their food extremely sought after.

Their most popular items on the menu are their oysters, their chicken snack boxes and their sandwiches, all of which are made from the finest local ingredients the owners can find.

Plus, they also have a bunch of daily specials that they announce on their social media, that are just there for the day. So, if you want to catch something a little different, ask for the daily specials too.

They also serve the best Mini Sweet Potato Pies that are just the best way to finish of any meal, so save room for those or get some to go and enjoy later on during the day.

Garrett’s Oyster Bar is closed on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and opens on Monday from 11 am to 8 pm.
