Our Top Eight Picks For The Best Breakfast In Park City: Food Worth Getting Out Of Bed For!

1. Five5eeds

We have to admit – Five5eeds may be the trendiest and most chic breakfast place in Park City. With an ultra-modern interior that is lined with vibrant potted plants, this place has an uber-cool vibe to it with a touch of Australian flair and fare. Consider it as an elevated version of your local Starbucks – only better, cooler, and with some excellent breakfast picks. They also have a neat little outdoor patio with stone benches and tables.

While the vibe within this cafe is great, the menu is equally interesting. It spans from many healthy picks like the Steel Cut Oatmeal to more satisfying classics like their Pulled Pork Benedict, but we recommend honing in on some of the more unique picks on offer. For instance, their Shakshouka is a classic Moroccan breakfast dish, which is a heavenly combination of baked eggs, feta, sourdough, and some dukkah (a spice dip). Pro tip: add the spicy sausage to experience this dish in its full glory!

If you can manage to save some room, try tucking into their Hotcake – a sweet morning treat for your taste buds. With a crispy outside and a gooey filling containing berry, nuts and mascarpone on the inside, this cake is a fan favorite and one that will keep you coming back for more!

The best part about having breakfast here? You can get most of the items on the menu in a gluten-free and vegan version upon request, which isn’t very common in cafes in Park City.

Oh and, did we mention they’ve got some of the town’s best coffee? Try their Aussie-style iced coffee, and you’ll know why the locals rave about this place!

Open every day from 7.30 am to 3 pm with all-day breakfast served in an Instagram-worthy plating style, Five5eeds is one spot you shouldn’t miss when seeking out breakfast in Park City.

2. The Bridge Cafe and Grill

If what you’re looking for are scenic views and delectable Brazilian cuisine, The Bridge Cafe and Grill offers just that.

With an enviable location at the bottom of the Main Street, just beside Town Lift, this place offers views of the picturesque mountains along with views of people riding up and down the lift! So undoubtedly, sitting outside on its bright, spacious patio (which is heated during winter) offers the best breakfast experience.

But you’ll also likely enjoy dining indoors, where the atmosphere is cheery and the design and decor are authentically Brazilian.

As for the food, well, you’re going to immediately fall in love with the Brazilian specialties here. The Brioche Breakfast, in particular, is a hit, which is a palate-pleasing combination of scrambled eggs, tarragon hollandaise, fresh avocado, Havarti cheese, and bacon aioli.

You can also go for the classics, such as the Burrinho – a delicious, overstuffed breakfast burrito that comes loaded with pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. Oh and, don’t forget to order the Caipirinha (Brazil’s national drink) and the Spicy Margarita, both of which are going to elevate their Brazilian breakfast to its best!

The Bridge Cafe and Grill is open every day from 8 am to 4 pm, offering breakfast all day long. It does get quite busy here (who would want to miss such good food with equally amazing views, right?), so expect a bit of a wait. The whole experience will be well worth the wait, though!

3. Squatters Roadhouse Grill

Squatters Roadhouse Grill may be best known for their great beers and juicy burgers, but they also whip up a killer breakfast!

With a large, comfortable outdoor patio overlooking the trees and the mountains beyond, you’ll have an unbeatable breakfast experience here, especially during the summer when the breezy weather puts everyone in a good mood. There are plenty of indoor seating options too – near the bar, at the bar, or the tables beside the windows. Either way, you’re going to love the warm, cozy atmosphere.

The menu here spans several inviting options, like the Country Fried Steak and Eggs or the chili-smothered Breakfast Burrito, but their specialty are the enormous Omelets with a side of hash browns. Go for the Southwest, which comes with bacon, jalapenos, salsa, and loads of cheddar cheese – an omelet so good it will have you licking the plate clean.

Also, don’t forget to try their famous Utah scones that are powdered with sugar and filled with some homemade, delicious raspberry jam. Sweet, simple, yet super tasty! And if you happen to drop by on a weekend, you’ll have the chance to taste some of their expertly-made bloody marys and mimosas with your Park City breakfast or brunch.

4. Atticus Coffee and Teahouse

For coffee aficionados, Atticus Coffee has hands down some of the best coffee and tea in town, along with breakfast sandwiches and bagels to accompany your coffee fix.

Located at the end of Main Street, this quirky little cafe is just a stone’s throw away from the Town Lift – perfect for having a quick breakfast before you head for a scenic ride. It’s part book/gift store and part coffeehouse, where you’ll find an eclectic selection of decor within its bright-colored walls.

Admittedly, there are only a handful of tables inside and outside, as the place is more geared towards takeouts. But if you’re in early, you can dine in this quirky place where the atmosphere is cozy and homey.

Their menu comprises every type of coffee you could ever want – cappuccino, latte, mocha, cortado, espresso, Americano, fresh or cold brew – you name it! We’re suckers for their Cuban Finch Latte, which has a strong dose of coffee and some cinnamon on top – it’s good enough to charge you up for the day ahead.

Also, don’t overlook their vast and impressive collection of special teas, including the spicy and refreshing cinnamon-infused Goblet of Fire and the very citrusy and bright Golden Starfruit. One sip into these will make you realize why Atticus is considered the master of their art!

Along with all the coffee you can handle, Atticus also has a handful of fresh breakfast items to accompany your morning drink. Get the ‘Usual’ for a quick and tasty breakfast fix – a bagel with avocado, cream cheese, black pepper, and some balsamic glaze. For something healthier, try their Buddha Bowl, which comes with chai-infused oatmeal, mixed berries, and lots of caramelized walnuts – it’s a twist on basic oatmeal that’s worth seeking out!

Atticus Coffee serves breakfast from 7 am till 2 pm every day, though you can come back later before 5 pm for some post-skiing coffee and souvenir shopping.

5. The Eating Establishment

If you’re craving comfort food, head towards The Eating Establishment – the oldest and most renowned diner in the area, serving some of the best breakfast in Park City.

Located on Main Street, this place has recently been remodeled to create a very relaxed and comfortable vibe to it, with wooden tables, chairs and brick walls making the place feel warm and cozy – perfect for a post-hike, easy going brunch. The outdoor patio is small but charming too, where you can sit under large umbrellas and view the historic Main Street as people bustle through it.

As for the menu, it boasts American classics such as the hearty Corned Beef Hash and Eggs Skillet and the Eggs Benedicts that come with a generous portion of breakfast potatoes. If you’re ravenous, taste the southern comfort folded into a platter of their famous Buttermilk Biscuits and Sausage Gravy – a loaded plate of deliciousness that will fuel you up for the day ahead.

But for a unique experience, definitely order their Farfalle and Egg Scramble. Imagine al dente pasta and scrambled eggs with sweet sausage, bacon, spinach, and lots of cheeses. It sounds weird, but it’s downright delicious!

This place also has a fancy bar, where you can get local beers on tap, along with various cocktails to awaken your palate for the upcoming delicious food.

Serving breakfast all day in Park City, The Eating Establishment is open from 8 am to 4 pm. And if you happen to be shopping on Main street, consider dropping by later in the day to taste their mouth-watering Wagyu beef burgers!

6. Apex

Feel like splurging a bit? Head over to Apex – an upscale, swanky restaurant by Montage Hotels. Since it’s situated right in the middle of the mountains at Marsac Avenue, you can expect some gorgeous views of the surrounding slopes that are green in the summer and snow-lined during winter.

Sit outside on its spacious patio, or inside at the luxurious bar or the lodge-like, majestic dining room where there’s a fireplace, fancy tables and chairs, and walls that are polished wood. Wherever you choose to sit, you’ll have a great view of the scenery outside.

As for the food, well, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a posh place like Apex – beautifully plated and impeccably done. Try their Apex Signature Breakfast for an extravagant experience; it comes with eggs cooked your way (tip: get them poached!), prosciutto, tomatoes, mushrooms, black truffle parmesan cream, and some arugula to dazzle your taste buds.

Prefer something sweeter? Definitely go for their heavenly Belgian Waffles – crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, topped with sugared, cinnamon-flavored apple and vanilla whipped cream. Well worth the extra bucks, if you ask us!

Apex is open from 7 am onwards, every day, serving some of the best breakfast in Park City with exquisite dishes and outstanding service.

And if you happen to be around the mountains in the afternoon, try coming back for lunch when there’s live music!

7. Harvest Cafe

There are times when you want a break from all the rich, heavy breakfast you’ve been indulging in on your trip, and that’s when you should head towards Harvest Cafe – a health-centric place with delicious, freshly-made breakfast picks.

The cafe is small but cool – both from the outside and the inside, where there are potted plants for decor and a relaxed, casual dining setup. They also have a handful of tables on their patio, where you can view the surrounding slopes as you munch on your meal.

While the cafe may be very laid-back and casual, the food is what you’d expect from an upscale restaurant – unique with a gourmet presentation (so a good opportunity for some food photography!). On top of that, Harvest Cafe ensures that all of its ingredients are fresh, locally sourced, and high quality.

Their menu is not very expansive, but the stuff they do have on offer is very interesting and focused on being healthy. Take for example their Savory Toast – a mouth-watering plate of sourdough bread topped with ricotta, goat cheese, herbs, avocado, mushrooms, spinach, and a perfectly poached egg. Who said being health conscious is no fun? Because this stuff is downright delicious!

They also have some great Australian coffee, which goes along really well with some of their Paleo Banana Bread made with caramelized bananas and honey ricotta. Yum! There are a bunch of other more satisfying yet healthy picks, and you can request many of the dishes to be vegan and gluten-free.

Open every day from 8 am to 3 pm for breakfast and lunch, Harvest Cafe will prove to be a breath of fresh air – aesthetically and taste-wise.

8. Wasatch Bagel and Grill

Looking for a quick and satisfying breakfast before you head off into the mountains? Visit Wasatch Bagel and Grill – a small, laid-back cafe offering some of the best bagels in Park City. Sit inside in the cozy yet lively atmosphere or outside on their spacious patio overlooking the tree-lined street with the mountains beyond it. Either way, you’re likely going to enjoy pretty much everything on the menu here.

Unsurprisingly, their bagels aren’t your average bagel. They’re large, warm, scrumptious, and loaded with fillings. Our favorite is the Asiago bagel that has perfectly cooked and seasoned eggs and a choice of flavored cream cheese (get the jalapeno cheddar!). Crispy on the outside, chewy and soft on the inside with warm and fresh fillings – what else could you want from a bagel?

If you’re in for a heartier breakfast, they’ve got lots of breakfast burritos, omelets, and even Huevos Rancheros to cure your a.m cravings.

We’re more biased towards their omelets, though, as they’re enormous (made with four eggs!), and come with a side of hashbrowns/pancakes and toast – a plate loaded enough to satisfy the biggest of appetites. Try their Denver Omelet – it’s a local favorite! Oh and, don’t forget to get one of their delicious smoothies or some freshly squeezed juice to accompany your bagels for a satisfying yet affordable breakfast.

Wasatch Bagel and Grill are open every day, serving fresh and hot breakfast from as early as 6 am – fantastic if you want to grab breakfast before an early hike.

And if you love their bagels, try coming back later for lunch or dinner for some of the best burgers in Park City!
