But it’s the pancake options that steal the show, while Monkey Do Cakes (with caramelized banana and pecans) and the Cinnamon Bun are both must-tries!

If you’re looking for something a little different, try their scramblers – eggs cooked with your choice of delicious vegetables. 3. LouLou’s Griddle in the Middle‍

If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast in Monterey, CA, be sure to check out LouLou’s! This quirky little restaurant is located right on the Fisherman’s Wharf and offers perfect harbor views.

4. Paris Bakery Cafe

The Paris Bakery is a quaint little cafe located in the heart of downtown Monterey. If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast that’s close to famous attractions like Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium, then this is the place for you!

Jackie Jegat, a French transplant who arrived in San Francisco from France in 1981, began the cafe. He brought his love of baking with him, and the Paris Bakery has been serving up delicious pastries and bread ever since.

Today, the entire family runs the bakery, which is known for its croissants, bread, and other breakfast items.

You can’t go wrong with a classic pain au chocolat or croissant, but there are many unique choices like ham and cheese or spinach and broccoli stuffed croissants. If you’re looking for something hot, try a quiche or the oatmeal.

5. Crepes of Brittany

For another taste of France, then head to Crepes of Brittany which is a great place to get your breakfast fix! Thierry and Daniel, owners of Crepes of Brittany, bring the authentic taste of Brittany-style crepes to Monterey Bay.

The crepes here are light and fluffy, while the galettes are hearty and filling. They take their customers on a quick trip overseas with an authentic experience with deliciously sweet crepes and savory galettes.

6. First Awakenings

If you’re looking for a relaxed breakfast spot to take in the morning sun, First Awakenings is the perfect place for you. The coffee is always delicious, and the staff are always friendly.

The bacon avocado omelet at this restaurant is a real treat. It’s made with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese. It’s hot and cooked to perfection, and it only takes them three minutes to deliver it to your table!

The original location of First Awakenings at Salinas is an excellent option if you’re looking for a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. However, if you’re looking for something more bustling and exciting, their location near Cannery Row in Monterey is perfect!

With plenty of outdoor seating and a great view, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.

7. The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is the perfect place to go for a home-cooked style meal. The diner has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make you feel like part of the family. It can get busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings though, but the wait is worth it.
