Our Top Nine Picks For Breakfast In Cape Coral: Food Worth Getting Out Of Bed For!

1. Annie’s Restaurant

A lovely, laidback old school restaurant serving American comfort food.

A family run joint, Annie’s has been serving breakfast in Cape Coral since 1987. You’ll be taken in by the warmth and comfort that this place exudes from the moment you enter, whether it’s the server’s friendly faces or the no frills, down to earth ambience.

There’s even an entire wall that features regular customers’ photos with a large sign that says ‘our customer is the heart of our business.’ The rest of the walls have different paintings and knick-knacks that celebrate Cape Coral. Seating is simple and comfortable, if a little closely packed, featuring wooden tables and upholstered chairs.

You’d better bring your appetite if you plan to dine here though, because the portion sizes are huge! And the ‘Grand Pancake’ itself could feed a family. We’ve also heard good things about the Greek omelet which comes filled with spinach, tomatoes, kalamata olives and feta cheese. Spring for the home fries too, they’re thick cut and super crisp on the outside.

There’s plenty to choose from the rest of the menu too, from grill items to eggs to order and specialty crepes. Another positive is that they serve breakfast till 1:00 p.m.

The service is very inviting and quick and everyone from the host to the owners welcome you with smiles.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. all days. Their lunch starts at 11:00 a.m. and goes on till 3:00 p.m. if you want to swing by and try some classic comfort fare.
