1. The George Inn

The George Inn is a true landmark with a history dating back 350 years, and was regarded as the last coach stop before London.

Today it is a bustling pub of two halves, with the lower level being reminiscent of a classic pub with booths, chairs and a wooden bar, and the upper uncovered terrace featuring bright modern molded furniture and fairy lights. We’re sure you’ll gravitate towards the latter to savour a pint or two!
